Answers:

1. The minimum age required to get a real estate license in the State of Alabama is 19.

2. You must have proof of high school graduation, copy of a high school transcript or diploma, a copy of a GED certificate, 2 or 4 year college degree, a teaching certificate, or a DD-214 showing verification of high school completion.

3. 60 hour pre-license course, passing the instructor’s exit exam with a score of 70 or greater and passing the state exam with a score of 70 or greater is required to obtain an Alabama Real Estate License.

4. The designated time period for each class could vary depending on the length of the pre-license course.

5. Your real estate license from another state will transfer to the State of Alabama, although you will need to complete a 3 hour Alabama License Law Course and a 3 hour Risk Management Course to comply with the Alabama Real Estate Commission.
